Manuscript Description: Christian Healing: A Lecture was a pamphlet of the sermon that Mary Baker Eddy delivered on April 18, 1880, at
a service in the Hawthorne Rooms at 2 Park Street in Boston. A variation on the text can also be found in a sermon
preached by Eddy in 1879, titled "How Christianity Lost its Element of Healing" (see
A10368BClick link to view A10368B document in new window to read a draft). The pamphlet, printed by John Wilson and Son 1880, was Eddy's first publication for general circulation following Science and Health. In 1925 Christian Healing was included in a collection of Eddy's works titled Prose Works Other than Science and Health.
