Beloved Teacher

I rejoice that you were with us in bodily presence yesterday

I rejoice that many who never saw you – but have loved you for years – had the blessed privilege of seeing you and listening to the words of Life from your lips.

I thank you for your words, for your rebuke, for your benediction.

What can I give you in return? only this – and it may be much – that you have led me to repentance. A repentance not to be repented of.

Again thanking you I remain as ever your Loving Student
William B. Johnson.
