Dear Brother Frye;

It was unfortunate that I mentioned the fact that the tieEditorial Note: Farlow had gifted Frye some neckties, purchased by his sister in Paris, France, as a gesture of appreciation for Frye; however, Frye was reluctant to accept the gift. came from ParisEditorial Note: Paris, France but I did so thinking to make them interesting to you. My sister ironed out the tie and was as enthusiastic over them as I was. I have a number of others besides gloves and other things she brought and you must share them.

Please accept these as coming from both of us — just a little token of our appreciation of your good faithful work.

Now be good and please us. That would be un-selfish. See?
