I prepared this matter in response to a letterEditorial Note: See L01725. received from you in October 1907.

The advice was to “write something good for our Cause and work this stuff (affidavits and statements) into it incidentally”. While I earnestly wish that the public knew what my document contains I have no desire to resort to means of placing it before the people that would not be effectual.

I have no desire in the matter at all but leave it to your wisdom which I have never found wanting.

If you find odd moments enough to run over the manuscript, I should like your judgment as to its correctness.
