Dear Coworker As Written: Co-worker :-

I am just in receipt of a letterEditorial Note: See L05026. from our Leader suggesting that I request youEditorial Note: Upon Eddy’s request, Hanna sent a copy of this letter to multiple parties. See L05026. in the preparation of your address for the meeting at ChicagoEditorial Note: This is in reference to the World's Parliament of Religions at The World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois. Christian Science was the only faith invited both to hold a denominational Congress of its own and to make a presentation of its teachings at a plenary session of the Parliament. Septimus J.Hanna helped Eddy prepare speakers for the Congress., to bear in mind that it is likely to go into the public press, and that at least some of your hearers will be from the outside, and that the remarks should be tempered accordingly. That is, refrain from antagonizing other churches, schools, and theories. Treat all with gentleness and courtesy. Let the spirit manifested be a fraternal one. This will do more toward reaching outside thought than statements which are likely to arouse antagonism. Let the spirit of Christ prevail.

Yours in Truth.
