Yours of the 2dEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. having been delivered at Mrs Larminie's did not reach me till yesterday.

Last night our church met at a Sociable. The Trustees and Directors gathered by themselves, and unanimously desired that their sympathy with you As Written: your and the mother Church at BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts should find some fitting mode of expression The result was a series of resolutions a copy of which I herewith transmit. Be assured that no other feelings than those of sorrow and indignation are felt among your students in chicago at the ignoble Course pursued As Written: purrsued by Mr. Gill.

Mr. Adams is alone as yet. teaching and preaching, without the sympathy of many. We hope he may see the error of his Course and return to duty and loyalty.

Miss Brown is much grieved at the present condition of affairs, but hopes for better things.

All will work together for good.Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. We will work meantime for Truth without fear or doubting

Yours in the faith
