My Beloved Teacher

Your letters Joyfully received and so I sang again the old song "Joy cometh in the morningEditorial Note: The "old song" referred to here is a hymn with words by Mrs. M. M. Weinland (1819-1899), titled "Joy Cometh in the Morning." Those words are taken from Psalms 30:5Ps 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. .." Your letterEditorial Note: Possibly L02743. to the DirectorsEditorial Note: The Christian Science Board of Directors and to Mr. Bates is the word of God and it seems as though it would raise the dead and I think it has, myself included. But some are rushing wildly without the intelligence of this mighty word. With this awakening a steady hand is needed The glamor of error seems loud but it is our duty to see its falsity and unreality. We are already one day behind our calculations sent to you on the tower. We shall try and make this up if possible If the students will all let God destroy the evil in their own thought as you have commanded in your letter, then the light of God will shine upon this church and form its completion for Gods work is complete in all its parts

The false claim of "occult science" is holding carnival in BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts just at this time, but God says it can do nothing against His work. Now as we keep ourselves from making false motions in this building of Gods templeEditorial Note: This is a reference to the building of the Original Edifice of The Mother Church. it will be finished in Gods time I pray that all may be moved by divine Intelligence for in this action we are safe and doing something in Gods way

Lovingly Yours in Truth
