Editorial Note: Brown says she has undertaken a duty Mary Baker Eddy has asked of her, which was apparently
to solicit monetary contributions from members of the Church of Christ (Scientist). She speaks of her practice of Christian Science and financial challenges. Alice Sibley has visited her. Brown concludes the letter by writing of her support of Eddy.
