Mr Gifford showed me your note; and I merely called to inquire, if a course of "Primary lessons" with Miss Gray of Washington, would be satisfactory to you? She told me last season that she would teach me next summer, when she comes here for a vacation —
I did not take a full course of lessons with Mrs Ballard — missing several — Hoping the lessons with Miss Gray may accord with your pleasure I am
