Editorial Note: Atkinson says he will comply with a request from Mary Baker Eddy that he not share
her communications with him. He says he cannot come to her at present because of business
demands. He is troubled by her request for him to turn his thoughts away from her
but is trusting that he will sometime understand the reason for her actions.
