Accession: 137.23.014
Editorial Title: Dell S. Atkinson to Mary Baker Eddy, January 2, 1877
Author: Dell S. Atkinson
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: January 2, 1877
Manuscript Description: Handwritten on lined paper by Dell S. Atkinson from Newburyport, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Atkinson congratulates Mary Baker Eddy on her marriage to Asa Gilbert Eddy. She is very glad that Mrs. Eddy's burdens will be lightened and shared by one so fitted to bear them as Asa Gilbert Eddy. Atkinson refers to a letter in which Mrs. Eddy has shown much interest in the case of her brother's wife. She feels that Daniel H. Spofford (apparently the practitioner on the case) cannot do the case justice with the way he is currently practicing, and she regrets that the case must therefore be given up. She asks to be remembered kindly to Mr. Eddy.
