WithoutAs Written:With out unfolding the special point of my errand I was cordially received by the church officers, as I shall write mother and willingly given access to the Church records.
This record reads as follows.
"1838. July 26- Received into this Church - Miss Mary A. M. Baker by profession."
The SanborntonEditorial Note: Sanbornton Bridge, New Hampshire and BowEditorial Note: Bow, New Hampshire histories give mother's birth as July 16. 1821. Then according to these records she was 17 not 12 which she joined the Church.
