For my beloved student's sake, dear Teacher, reconsider this last letter. They have never had anything but pure Science in Spirit and letter. I have not always seen the ultimate of Divine Science and been in obedience to it, but whenever I have seen a mistake I have been ready to acknowledge and undoAs Written:undue, so far as I could, and Divine Principle ever waits to forgive all who turn to Him in their extremity. There is no person living who can truthfully say that I am not a true, loyal, Christian Scientist, or rather, student of Christian Science for when Truth is all understood, there will be no misrepresentation by Scientists, and Scientists will not know the malice of mortal mind; for it will have been all overcome.

Was it not to the sinning and suffering that the Impersonal Christ, the Holy Ghost – Divine Science came through you? I see dear Teacher, Guide, Mother what the establishing of the Cause has cost you, that is, to some extent, and God forbid that I should knowingly add one burden to what only divine Love could have enabled you to hear. If it is your peace that is at stake, and my being among the number who love you deeply and sincerely as Woman, Friend, Teacher, and impersonally, as God's divine Messenger – His Idea, will add to your burden of pain for burdened humanity then it must be that God has no place for this one poor mortal who has caught glorious glimpses of His omnipotence and Love.
Please let me come to you. You can sift my heart to its inmost recesses with your spiritual insight, and is not your insight deeper than any of your students? Will not the merciful Father give you all power to bind in love, or loose from captivity?
Oh, God, Father, soften the hearts that would shut out one of thy children from an abiding consciousness of Thy presence, and take from her the seal and sign of Thy approval before men.
