I thank you for your suggestions in your letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant.. I cannot do things perfectly till I grow into them but I shall conform on the score of prayer very speedily. I shall find no difficulty longer. I was under a serious misapprehension.

The "Historical Sketch" and "Tenets" of the Ch. is one of the things I was wanting. Those Tenets have come to be mine

Science and HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy has formed my chief reading daily for some time. There's no book like it, and none that seems so necessary to me. It is like the Bible in that the glare of its strong and striking eloquence sometimes dazzles me, so that I need to look long and often to see into its depths.

I have promised Mrs Jones to lecture on ChristianAs Written:Chrn. Science next week up in New Hampshire, and am just tracing out the line of my exposition, which I would like As Written: lik to read to you in substance next Monday in the afternoon. I want to be correct.

That's good news from Mr. Day.

Gratefully Yours
Wm I Gill
