You see I say nothing of Lawrence As Written:Laurence in my letter of acceptance. That is not necessary, because no work there is to be prolonged or to interfere with Boston. Besides, all the work of my life henceforth is for Christian ScienceAs Written:Chrn. Science; and the Ch. in Boston cannot live unless other Churches all over the country As Written: county in large towns, at least, are started and prospered. In the meanwhile Lawrence As Written: Laurence will enable me to do something toward the building fundEditorial Note: This building fund existed for the purpose of raising money to erect an edifice for the Church of Christ (Scientist) in Boston.; for it is not the money which I chiefly seek, but the good of the causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science. and spiritual results.

I shall be glad when I can get settled among you with my family.

I shall be also very happy if I may be able in any degree in a pure and spiritual way to diminish your loss in the departure of Mr. Eddy. Henceforth my life and interest and honor are identified with your work and its success. I cannot recede. I shall never again have any other place in this world. I necessarily burn my ships in landing on your coast. I must be a permanent success growing to the last, or I shall not be a success at all. I look upon my present transaction as irrevocable. I shall never more have any life divided from Christian ScienceAs Written:Chrn. S. I see, too, that any other mind healing than this will speedily result in immorality, irreligion and atheism, Hence I deem it of infinitely sacred importance, and must act accordingly. The Lord bless us all. Let us pray much for each other.
