I have received a reply to my appeal for the “Globe Democrat.”Editorial Note: St. Louis Globe-Democrat They have searched two months back & cannot find what you desireEditorial Note: According to a letter by Mrs. H. A. Heathwood (see 492.55.002), Mary Baker Eddy believed an article, claiming that Eddy was dead, had appeared in the St. Louis Globe-Democrat. Eddy hoped that the article could be found and a copy sent to her. Eddy herself wrote to the paper (L14021), asking that they publish a statement saying that she was in fact alive.. & no one in the office knows anythingAs Written:any thing about it. They still continue to seek for it, & if he can find it, I shall have it. What else can I do in this matter? Command my services. Is it best to write to the Editor? If you wish an article in the Hillsboro MessengerEditorial Note: Possibly a reference to a newspaper published in Hillsboro, New Hampshire. please send me one that suits you.
