My dear Teacher

Your letter of the 24thEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. was duly received— I gave it to Mrs Bell as you requested– We are both glad she is going to see you so soon, as she can perhaps As Written: perhapse dispel some of the mysteries floating in the mental atmosphere— It is useless for me to speak by letter of the misunderstandings of the past, I will add however this much earnestly that we are innocent of ever having disobeyed you intentionally at any time, or in any regard, and doing our work just as near right as we know how, working for the causeEditorial Note: The cause of Christian Science. all the time- having forfeited every worldly pleasure, knowing nothing but Christian Science– If evil is at work against us– we know that God is with us, and Truth will set us freeJohn 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
