My very dear Teacher

The invaluable volume of the "Journeys of JesusEditorial Note: The Journeys of Jesus is a book by Addison D. Crabtree, published in 1883." arrived safely, and received gratefully– It was so kind of you to send me just what I most needed to help me on my journey to the seeming far-offAs Written:far off Country where Jesus went– His teachings are a beautiful guide to our weary pilgrimageAs Written:pilgimage, through this wilderness of mortal dreamlandAs Written:dream land

I was so surprised when I saw, "from your" Teacher As Written: Teachr the author, the authorship made it doubly precious, I was perfectly unconscious of having the honor and pleasure of "Dr Crabtre's" acquaintance–

You are a wise little Idea ruling the world, and the world thinks it is its own wisdom– I often think, what a blessing you are to us all, and how blind the people are to the great fact of Life, How long do you think we will have to fight evil, before we can be at rest– I pray the end will be soon– If you think it would be best for me to join the class in Obstrtrics I shall do so with pleasure– I want to do everything that would advance me in the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian ScienceGen Bates called yesterday. I was happy to hear him say he had concluded not to enter any class until he went to you– he is already a wonderful healer from reading the bookEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy– I am now teaching a class of ladies one is a Dr's As Written: Drs wife, two from Akron As Written: Ackron Ohio, six altogether, I enjoy it exceedingly– I am invited to teach a class in ClevelandEditorial Note: Cleveland, Ohio in February– have partially promised to go–
