Everything is much the same as when I last wrote you. I have told a number of my Friends that you were thinking of Coming out here to deliver some lectures and they all expressed a great desire to see you and hear you speak and I think by the time that you are prepared to come there will be quite an interest awakened. But the CauseEditorial Note: Christian Science will suffer and already has suffered from this indiscriminate teaching what a pity it should ever have occurred Mrs Emerson and Mrs Coursen are teaching anyone and for any price that they will be willing to pay particularly Mrs Emerson and there are others who are not as well known – I have taught one Old gentleman last Winter the only one I have taught since I have been here. And then I should not have taught him had he ever intended to practice – for I had then awakened somewhat to the responsibility that a Teacher of this ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science assumes – but he is quite old nearly seventy and never intends to practice or I should try and induce him to go to the College as anyone intending to make this a Business cannot As Written: Can not be too well prepared –
