My Dear Teacher,

I am happy to say that I am all right now, and I think that my trouble. and confusion of thought, was greatly due to chemicalizationEditorial Note: Chemicalization is a term Mary Baker Eddy used to refer to a temporary stirring up of symptoms or process of “fermentation” as errors of various types are being destroyed., for when that was taken up the result was more pronounced and satisfactory As Written: satisfory than when Mes. was alone handled. and my understanding of the Truth seems better, and clearer, than it has ever been before. and I look for the result of that clearer perception of the Truth. and have already began to see it, my confidence in my Friends has been restored and I am filled with Love and Charity, I regret very much my inability to come to Boston again at Present, and could I have known when this Class would have been formed would have deferred my visit until now, for I should have been most happy to have joined it, but I shall not be able to come again at present however much I should value your instructions and I mean to have it sometime, probably your next Class. but as I have at present no desire to teach, I do not feel like making any sacrifice, and I feel that I must recover my lost ground before I attempt anything As Written: any thing farther, I can now see the process by which the work is done, first to destroy the confidence, in the Teacher of the Truth, and the result naturally follows that they lose confidence in the Truth itself, and if it could be so impressed on the Students mind that that is the beginning of the attack, and it could be nipped in the Bud it would stop matters at once, but the Trouble lies with the Student of course, for they either forget what you have told them, or do not realize the importance of it. I think that I lost sight of it altogether, Thanking you for your kindness and Patience with me,

I remain
Your AffectionateAs Written:Affct Student

P.S. you promised me your Picture I should value it highly,
