I received todayAs Written:to day a letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. from Mr Frye in answer to my application As Written: aplication for admittance As Written: admitance to the Normal in which he says you desire to know if I have taken a course with one of her students As Written: studants . No. and I did not know that that was necessary As Written: nessary , as I understood that one who had been your student As Written: studant was not allowed As Written: alowed to take a course with another one of your students As Written: studants , he says if I have not you do not think I am entitled to go through the class.

I was not able to go through your whole class in sept. as I did not get there in time but you urged me to remain and go through the Normal class that followed that or if I must go home to return to it but circumstances would not admit of it so thought to return now. but if I am not entitled to it I suppose I must, wait. but am very sorry. please As Written: pleas wire me at once at my expense As Written: expence and tell me whether or no I can enter, wire me hereAs Written:hear, and now as regards Mrs S. E. Dow of Dow. City Ia she is a grand good woman. and very enthusiastic over christian science, and no doubt in doing some good work she is a special friend of mine- and I would be glad to see her enter the N. class if she was simply doing so to get a better understanding. of science. but having As Written: haveing seen so much evil effects of half teaching in the west and understanding the Great importance As Written: emportance of right Teaching in this greatest of all things, I do not think it would be well or right for mrs Dow to take the field as a Teacher.
