Editorial Title: Bradford Sherman to Sarah H. Crosse, January 14, 1884
Author: Bradford Sherman
Recipient: Sarah H. Crosse
Date: January 14, 1884
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Bradford Sherman on embossed lined paper from Chicago, Illinois.
Editorial Note: Sherman tells Sarah H. Crosse that people in Chicago have been spreading malicious falsehoods about him in an attempt to ruin his reputation as a Christian Scientist. They have said that he gives, orders, and recommends medicine, that he manipulates patients, and that he says that a person can be as wicked as he wants to be and still be a Christian Scientist. He asks to know who is accusing him and asks that Crosse show his letter to Eddy so that she knows that her confidence in him has not been misplaced.
