My Dear Teacher -

I enclose As Written: inclose a circular which has been sent anonymously to me. The enemy have everythingAs Written:every thing we have now except a leader Knaves and liars can never unite under any one head

It seems to me that Mr. Gill will scatter his fire by keeping on with that church in LaurenceEditorial Note: Lawrence, Massachusetts– At any rate he said that if I were to go to LawrenceAs Written:L. it would be another inducement for him to remain there– How does this look to you– If my going to LawrenceAs Written:L. is to make matters harder for you to handle, it is not too late to start out in CambridgeEditorial Note: Cambridge, Massachusetts WalthamEditorial Note: Waltham, Massachusetts or even BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts– I am led As Written: lead by what you say. not by what he wishes- and now he wants me to go to his church next Sunday– if you approve– I am glad to hear him say that he is beginning to see this question of the silent poison of a lie — He is growing clearer and says no argument can darken him towards you and your directions —

I am at work —

With faithfulness —
