My Dear Teacher

Now I understand Mortal mind is a better counterfeit As Written: counterfit of the immortal mind- than matter– But the expression, "God hath more respect" et ceteraAs Written:&c sounded so contradictory and discordant– I could not endure to read it - and now I wish some other expression could be substitutedAs Written:substituded — but you know best – Thank you for your explanation – your forbearance, and care for my spiritual well-beingAs Written:well being - My love to you is too great to find expression in mere words - I can only demonstrate it by adhering strictly to your teachings and help others to do the same — I came here at the earnest solicitation of Miss Brown & others – a great interest is awakened here & no scientistEditorial Note: Christian Scientist in the city of 40,000 - Many are desirous to learn - who cannotAs Written:can not go to BostonEditorial Note: Boston, Massachusetts. What shall I do with them? Since I commenced writing a Lady came in and said - "when I touch that place with my finger the nerve draws my mouth, and is so sore — she had not finished her story when – why it does not do that now – it is all right"– she was astonished; I replied it does not take very long formind to demonstrate that it is supreme O I must study and take care of my husband —

In Truth and with great love –
M H. Philbrick C.S.
