My Dear Mrs. Eddy,

I called on you last evening - hoping to see you, and thank you for your great kindness to Belle, and all of us, by taking her into your class: we could hardly believe it when she came home and told us she was to go yesterday.

We were greatly interested in what she had to tell us after her first lesson.

My life has been such a struggle with discord, that I earnestly look forward for Belle's future to be bright with harmony, and I see no surer way than for her to be your student, and so learning the science of MindEditorial Note: Christian Science that she will be prepared for life's contest, and able to win in every battle.

Yours most gratefully,
Clara Beecher
