Dear Mrs. Eddy-

You have above my permanent address- while I am in Galesburg-

Mr. Frye's note of the 8thEditorial Note: This note is not extant. receivedAs Written:rec'd for which I thank you- will follow directions.

I want you to write me plainly, word for word what is holding my practice. What it is in myself & what outside of myself-

I wish you would tell me every belief, no matter how big it is, that is holding me- that I may work daily and I want to know how long I must work each day- I want to know everything that I must do to succeed in every way

Do you want me to promise you never to get married?

Yours with much love
I. A. Beecher
