My Dear Mrs Glover: —

Your kind favor of the 26th inst.Editorial Note: See L02045. was duly received.

The Bible is a chart of life for us to study – The teachings of Jesus Christ is a light in the shadow of death and if we walk in it we are lead into life.Isa 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. Matt 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. The book written by you – Science and HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy" is a key to unlock the secret chambers – to expose the shams and the lack of Truth as taught by theologies. The above is my opinion.

It seems to me a new era of my life is begun – a want has been supplied – that for which my soul has cried after, and for which I have prayed has been granted to me. Not all of knowledge, and Truth and righteousnessAs Written:rightiousness – but I see before me a new world of beauty, and harmony which I can and am to attain.

The wealth of worlds could not purchase the knowledge I feel I have obtained As Written: abtained of the science of Life in the study of your bookEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and the Bible, and I now declare my purpose:- with all my might will I devote my energies in repeating the glad story of redemption from ills of error — and that there is a balm of GilleadJer 8:22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? for the healing of nationsRev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. .

My dear wife and I are delighted with the prospect of having you with us for a time this winter – will it be soon that you come?

We write in the wish, Dear Mrs. Glover that the New Year about to dawn may be a very happy one As Written: on for you in the advancement of the noble mission of teaching dying people how to live.
