Editorial Note: Smith is responding to a letter from Mary Baker Eddy (not extant). He tells her that
he will take care of her request to look after the copyright of Science and Health. He wishes that he could be of real service to Eddy in her difficulties and that
perhaps someday he can. Smith and his wife are Eddy's true and faithful friends and have it in their hearts to do her good.
Smith is arranging his business to free himself from its details in order that he
might devote himself to Christian Science and to Mary Baker Eddy.
