Editorial Title: Eldridge J. Smith to Mary Baker Eddy, July 26, 1883
Author: Eldridge J. Smith
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: July 26, 1883
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Eldridge J. Smith on lined printed stationery of the Mansion House, Buffalo, New York.
Editorial Note: It is almost midnight and Smith tells Mary Baker Eddy he should be asleep, but he can't resist writing to her. He is working hard at his business but looks forward to a future of service to the cause of Christian Science. He asks that Eddy tell his fellow Christian Scientists in Boston that his heart is fresh with loving memories of them all. He hopes to have an advertisement for his company in the next issue of The Christian Science Journal. As he often does in letters, Smith praises his wife, Melinda H. Smith, and says that she is noble and as true as the North Star.
