Accession: 382.50.033
Editorial Title: Eldridge J. Smith to Mary Baker Eddy, October 4, 1883
Author: Eldridge J. Smith
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: October 4, 1883
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Eldridge J. Smith from Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Editorial Note: Smith is responding to a letter (not extant) that he recently received from Mary Baker Eddy in which she told him of her victory in the lawsuit, Eddy v. Arens. He rejoices in the news. As he has written in previous letters to Eddy, he hopes it will not be long before he is free from his business responsibilities and able to devote himself fully to the Cause of Christian Science. He also speaks of his wife as being zealous in the work of Christian Science.
