Editorial Note: Taylor is replying to a letter from Mary Baker Eddy that is not extant. She expresses
approval of a proposal by Eddy to invite spouses of members of the Christian Scientist
Association to its meetings but that circumstances will prevent her from joining the
Association until autumn. She also tells Eddy that she is encountering patients who
do not wish to pay for Christian Science treatment, believing that anything connected
with God should be without price.
