My Very dear Teacher!

Having sent in to you an application to enter your next Normal Class, I received As Written: recived a letter from Dr Frye you would rather your students would demonstrate the Truth for one year before entering the Class.

Before going through your Class held in March I had been taught by Mrs Colman My receipt As Written: recept being dated February 8th 1886- I had been in constant successful demonstration of the truth before entering your class. in March and ever since in fact from the seventh lesson Mrs. Colman taught Me. I have been desirous to again see you. and to be once more under your instructions Knowing the Spiritual uplifting one obtains from them.

I have found unexpectedly As Written: unexpect"edly that I can meet your required terms for Tuition.

Perhaps an accountAs Written:acct of one of my latest demonstrations would not here be amiss I was called to St JosephEditorial Note: Saint Joseph, Missouri to see a lady who in belief had been an invalid As Written: invalide for 6 years. At the time of my coming the three attending physicians had said "she is dying" after having been there four times she is now able to sit up and she looks like a different woman. In belief she has not been able to walk in 4 years.

Hoping you will reconsider my application Knowing at the same time you will do only what is for my best good.

Your loving student
