Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Henrietta E. Day on lined paper from Boston, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Day is responding to a note she received from Mary Baker Eddy (not extant). The note
apparently was a request for Day to pay in full Eddy's fee for giving Day class instruction
in Christian Science. Day says that it is her understanding that her debt to Eddy
was to be cancelled by Day earning enough money from her practice of Christian Science
to pay it. Day has not practiced Christian Science successfully and is now convinced
that it is fallacious. She regrets that she has wasted so much time and money on it
and says that Eddy has no legal claim on her.
