I received Mr. Frye’s noteEditorial Note: This note is not extant. that my application for membership to the C. S. Association had been accepted. I hope I shall ever prove worthy of their confidence. I spend a number of days in FarmingtonEditorial Note: Farmington, Maine and while there proved in several instances the power of Truth to heal the sick I am at home and the prospect is that I shall remain. The people here seem joined to their idols, and will not give me the chance that I so much desire to prove the power of Truth to make whole. I should be happy were I permittedAs Written:permited to engage my time in this glorious work but circumstances prevent, but will endeavor to improve every opportunity to advance the right. Hoping that I shall ever be found “Steadfast unmovable alwaysAs Written:alwey abounding in the work of the Lord”I Cor 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
