I wrote you over a week ago – a personal letterEditorial Note: See 534.57.002. in regard to my taking a course of instruction at your College - & as I have not yet heard from you fear that the letter may have miscarried. I am extremely anxious to hear from you before making other arrangements as if I do not go to you, I shall to Dr Arens, & I much prefer the former

I have done a splendid piece of work this week have gotten a lady on the road to recovery who was given up, by four of our best physicians as hopeless. & again – have worked for nine weeks on a little tumor. I want to learn more & learn how to equalize cases – Do you not allow a discount on your booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures to one ordering as many as I do for I have purchased from you seventeen copies. partly through my own name . & others ordered for me by a friend. I wish you would please answer my letter which contained the request for an Extension of your kind offer to me last SummerEditorial Note: This was in the summer of 1883. – to take me for $100-Editorial Note: 100.00 As I was then totally unable to accept it. I am anxious to do so now I cannot afford my Expenses & the $300-Editorial Note: 300.00.
