Accession: 545.58.025
Editorial Title: Emma Gray to Mary Baker Eddy, November 18, 1883
Author: Emma Gray
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: November 18, 1883
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Emma Gray from Washington, D.C.
Editorial Note: Gray is replying to a letter (not extant) that she received from Mary Baker Eddy. She writes that she is not able to study with Eddy at present and feels that she will have to abandon all hope of ever studying Metaphysics. It has been a great struggle for her to give up the thought of studying, but her difficulties seem to have increased instead of diminished. Gray will let Eddy know if she feels able to take a class from Eddy in the future. (Gray did go on to study with Eddy in 1884 and 1885.)
