I, S.E. Heywood, from Neenah Wis.Editorial Note: Neenah, Wisconsin., am at this place, visiting an invalid sister, but feel impatient to receive the instruction your wisdom & generosity has made possible for me to enjoy, therefore would like to leave here Monday morning Jan. 21st, to be with you at Boston –

I sincerely hope you will not find me lacking in the one talent necessary to ensure to yourself the just returns, over and above your very generous terms to me, though to human perception the work seems so far beyond the grasp of mortals, that I falter, fearing the bread you give me may be cast upon the waters, and slow in their return to you – I will not trouble you to answer, unless you find it necessary to alter the arrangements of my plans.

Very Truly Yours
S. E. Heywood
