Accession: 553.58.003
Editorial Title: Ira B. Keith to Mary Baker Eddy, June 30, 1882
Author: Ira B. Keith
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: June 30, 1882
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Ira B. Keith on his lined printed stationery, from Lynn, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Keith tells Mary Baker Eddy that he has found that the laws of Vermont give the widow of a husband who dies without issue, all of the real estate to the value of $2000 ($50,459.14 in 2016) and one half above that amount. So if Asa Gilbert Eddy's farm in Vermont sells for less than $2000, it doesn't matter if his will is ever found or not. Keith awaits further instructions from Eddy.
