As I was coming As Written: comeing in on the train WednesdayAs Written:weds. morningAs Written:morn. it came to me like an inspiration that if you would begin as soon as possible the translation of the four “Gospels”Editorial Note: By “translation,” Morrill may be asking Eddy to provide a metaphysical, verse-by-verse interpretation of the four gospels in the New Testament – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. leaving other scriptures until As Written: untill that was done it would the grandest thing possible to do. We all know that the words of the “God-Man”Editorial Note: Jesus Christ are more to us than all else and we can be so lifted by them as the “Father”Editorial Note: God has given them to you.

I have spoken to only two or three of your friends but we feel almost sure it is God’s As Written: Gods call to you to do this first. I would hope you could give us the book of “Matthew” in such a binding as we have the cheapest testament now so we would have the benefit of it early as possible. Of course we would expect it to cost more in proportion than all the Gospels but no matter.

I hope you will enquire of the Lord of this at once and He will guide you into all truthJohn 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: John 16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; John 16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. .

I pray for you many times a day.

Yours in that sweetest Name ever applied to earth life.

Your humble brother
