though you gave me permission to write you when I left the class I have felt you had so many demands upon your time it would be hardly right for me to trespass upon it unless I had something special to say to you I have been trying to walk in the path you marked out for us as nearly as I could, and while I have had no very remarkable success I have had several cures which have filled my heart with gratitude to God that he has been pleased to own and bless the work which was so imperfectly done. After I got home several of my friends came to me and urged me to teach them which I reluctantly did, but was gratified to see them come out able to demonstrate and some of them are doing excellent work Now can I come into the Feb Normal class if I can arrange my finances to do so? and are the terms the same to your own students as to 'Students? Students? You know I went through a class with Mrs Colman last Feb since which time I have been doing more or less healing, so that the required year of practice will be nearly complied with. I saw Mrs Evans the other day who was a Student in Mrs Fenms August class and she tells me she has a written permit from you to go into the next Normal, so I have reason to hope you will look with favor on an application from a student of your own class. Mrs Evans has also taught a class of seven since her return. I should not feel so anxious to go until spring but for the fact that several of Mrs Fenns Students are going who have not been in the work more than half as long as I have and you will see I have a little pride about a Student's As Written: Students Student taking a position above me Miss Grace Deming who has sent in application for the Feb class is an excellent girl and does good work in ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science I hope you will admit her Mrs Fenn also recommends her Hoping you will look favorably on her application and mine also
