Editorial Note: Swartwout, unaware that Asa Gilbert Eddy died on June 3, 1882, asks him to send him
the price of Mary Baker Eddy's book, Science and Health. He also asks what Mary Baker Eddy's terms are for teaching Christian Science, as
he wishes to study with her. (There is no evidence that Swartwout ever took a class
from Eddy.)
