Accession: 592.60.069
Editorial Title: Calvin A. Frye to Mary Baker Eddy, July 26, 1882
Author: Calvin A. Frye
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: July 26, 1882
Manuscript Description: This is a draft of a letter to Mary Baker Eddy, handwritten by Calvin A. Frye on lined paper from Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Frye begins his letter by telling Mary Baker Eddy that things now have a more cheerful aspect than when they last met. He writes that his mother is well, and business is increasing and succeeding. When Frye and Eddy last met, Eddy had apparently offered Frye a position in her household. He has weighed her offer carefully and will accept it if they can arrange mutually satisfactory terms. He wants to know more about his duties, his salary, and when he will begin work. He hopes to receive a reply from Eddy at her earliest convenience.
