Editorial Note: Frothingham has studied medicine with a number of physicians. He has no desire to
study Christian Science with Mary Baker Eddy and claims that he has learned all he
needs to know of it from Rufus K. Noyes, M.D. (Noyes never studied Christian Science). He doubts the efficacy of Christian
Science healing, but he is willing to practice it if only to make a dollar for himself
and Eddy.
