Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Nellie C. Stewart on lined paper from Mukwonago, Wisconsin, with envelope
postmarked from East Troy, Wisconsin.
Editorial Note: Stewart is responding to the receipt of a letter (not extant) and a box of photographs
and other mementos concerning her uncle, Asa Gilbert Eddy, which she received from Mary Baker Eddy. Stewart would like to know more about some
of the people in the photos and she also requests a photo of Eddy. She expresses an
interest in Christian Science, which she currently knows very little about. She would
like to become acquainted with Eddy as she feels that anyone whom her uncle would
marry must possess rare qualities of mind and heart. She hopes to hear from Eddy again,
as often as it is convenient.
