Accession: 597.61.012
Editorial Title: Sarah E. Mackay to Mary Baker Eddy, December 31, 1882
Author: Sarah E. Mackay
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: December 31, 1882
Manuscript Description: Handwritten copy of letter of Sarah E. Mackay, in the hand of Calvin A. Frye.
Editorial Note: Mackay (formerly Sarah Ware, a copyist for Phineas P. Quimby) writes to Mary Baker Eddy (whom she addresses as Miss Barker). Mackay wants to assure Eddy that she is not forgotten. Mackay says she is growing in her understanding of Quimby's healing methods and wishes she would be with Eddy to help her get over her physical problems. (Mackay seems to assume that Eddy is still suffering from the same problems she had when a patient of Phineas Quimby.) Mackay concludes her letter with some news of her family and life in England.
