I know not which is the greater, & should say that they worked together like the muscles and nerves of the human hand. To discover exactly the agreement of the two systems, and their relation seems to me a most important work. Were I able I should take a course in some Metaphysical College, and as soon as possible I shall buy your new book. My means being very limited friends have so far assisted me, I was in fact a helpless invalid rapidly growing blind from pain when this ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science was brought to me, and I was immediately restored to perfect health. This is why I asked you for your own sake, and the sake of the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science, to look over the Synopsis of all that I have learned upon this point & mark out that which militated against Christian Science. When you have done this and returned the writing to me (I enclosed stamps to pay its return postage) I shall send it with the same request to a man who is capable of correcting all that does not strictly conform to Swedenborg you can surely comprehend how valuable these correlated opinions must be, how much it will assist to confirm in many minds the worth of your discovery, how greatly it will disarm prejudice and clear away from very many people the cloud which now hides you from their eyes. If you cannot comprehended this it is because you are within & not without. There are scores of people asking today the question that I have put to you, How does the Christian Science agree with that of Correspondences? And the clearing up of that question sheds abroad a great light.
