Matt 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: Matt 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Luke 6:46 ¶And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Luke 6:47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. When you have done this and returned the writing to me (I enclosed stamps to pay its return postage) I shall send it with the same request to a man who is capable of correcting all that does not strictly conform to Swedenborg you can surely comprehend how valuable these correlated opinions must be, how much it will assist to confirm in many minds the worth of your discovery, how greatly it will disarm prejudice and clear away from very many people the cloud which now hides you from their eyes. If you cannot comprehended this it is because you are within & not without. There are scores of people asking today the question that I have put to you, How does the Christian Science agree with that of Correspondences? And the clearing up of that question sheds abroad a great light. With the hearty cooperation As Written: coöperation of yourself and a Swedenborgian Minister this can quickly be done and your ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science raised to the position which it ought to occupy, and which it will one day, somedayAs Written:some day, even without the assistance which I have asked.
