Having been informed of your system of treatmentEditorial Note: Christian Science, I wish to lay before you the condition of my wife and ask you if anything As Written: any thing can be done for her. She is at the present time very sick and helpless and our Physicians here cannot benefit her, say they do not understand her case-- In 1877 she was prostrated with nervous debility and was helpless on her bed until As Written: untill 1881 when she partially recovered but could not walk till 1882 & has only been able to do so since when lifted to her feet, her sufferings during that time were almost indescribable

In March last she was again prostrate and is now completely bedridden and and in a helpless condition, suffering intensely day & night from her nervous system and failure of her stomach to act. & our Doctors seem powerless to help her-- She uses medicine to regulate her stomach & that does not have the desired effect I am sorry to say her case seems very bad-- In conversation with some friends who are conversant with your system of treatmentEditorial Note: Christian Science they advised me by all means to apply to you and put the case with you to treat-- Will you please advise me in the matter Expense is no object if I can restore my wife to even her usual health--

Will you kindly answer and if you can treat her let me know what is necessary to do--

Respectfully Yours
