Editorial Note: Crosby replies to Mary Baker Eddy's letter of January 17, 1877 (L02015). She says she would love to come and take shorthand notes in Eddy's class, if she can see her way clear to doing it financially. She also would enjoy seeing Eddy again, is glad Eddy is newly married, and wants to learn more about Eddy's husband, Asa Gilbert Eddy. Crosby asks Eddy to let her know how much Eddy proposes to pay her. She says it would cost $6.00 ($131.46 in 2014) each way to travel to Eddy for the class.
