Feb. 1st 1887-
Rev. Mary B. G. Eddy;
Dear Madam,

I am very glad indeed to be able to say to you frankly, that I do not have any lingering symptoms of the old belief of spinal trouble-

To my knowledge I have never had the slightest return of the belief since I was treated by Mrs. E. B. Fenn a year ago last October.

I can assure you most truthfully I have not favored myselfAs Written:my self in the least- Mrs. Fenn will tell you of my health also Mrs. Poterfield who I have known all my life– I would not have thought dear Mrs. Eddy that I was living up to the sweet teachings of your wonderful bookEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy if I had not told you the plain truth in regard to my health when I sent my application for the Normal Class.
