Manuscript Description: Handwritten by William Emerson on printed lined stationery of the Michigan Stove Company,
from Chicago, Illinois.
Editorial Note: Emerson encloses payment for a copy of Mary Baker Eddy's book, Science and Health, her pamphlet, Christian Healing, and a copy of The Christian Science Journal. He writes that his wife has learned Christian Science and needs extra books in order
to teach it to others. He asks if Eddy makes any discount. A notation on the letter
says that these materials were sent on November 16, 1883.
